@daughter-sea
Winter is upon us, and if it is as I fear, it shall not be kind. Forgive my absence, I am taken quite ill and there was far too much to do to speak too long.
For those that brought me what they could, I have preserved it and stored it. It is ready for you to collect when you are able.
For all else, since it seems I have been ordered to stay a-bed for the most part until my strength returns, perhaps someone might play a game with me? It is very simple, you must come with a rhyme to match mine, then we continue until one of us cannot think of a line, I shall begin:
I would be much obliged as I am frightfully bored.
Yours in faith and in courage against the long dark,
Queen Gilia St. Loe, Daughter-Sea, She Who Sings the Ocean to Prosperity and the Endless Wail.
[ooc: real life ate me so damn hard, please just assume Gilia's be bed ridden and sick for the entire month and people could have checked up on her and told her to go back to sleep every time she protested being busy.]

May I assist you in any way, Lady Gilia? I'm sorry to hear you've been ill.

The pleasure of your company is all that I required, but thank you. I am recovering at last, it just seems a little slower.

If so, there might be a subtle remedy that could help. Although, that would require you to travel to Mirth and I certainly wouldn't dare suggest it in your condition.
Instead, maybe I could offer you some hot tea and honey? That along with some much needed company.

I would be glad for it all, Master Augustine, and for yours especially, thank you.
[ And wow why is she coughing again harder when she wrote that? Stupid flower petals, there is surely no connection. ]

I'm glad you've received the medicine. Though, I find it rather difficult to choke down without some tea and honey.
That's why I'm coming to see you, dear Gilia. I have some lemon and ginger tea that might help you feel better.

( what was it that mavis called it? hanahaki. calling it lovesickness seems unbearably trite. nevermind his abject refusal to believe that the root cause of all of this is unresolved emotions. )
Do you need any help with the remaining work?

Perhaps I would take you up on that dinner, cooking for myself is a little pressing at the moment.

I can drop something off, sure.
( by which he means, he will get food from someone who knows what they're doing and bring it to her. he wasn't being self-deprecating about his lack of skill. )
How many more deliveries do you have left?
