Winter is upon us, and if it is as I fear, it shall not be kind. Forgive my absence, I am taken quite ill and there was far too much to do to speak too long.

For those that brought me what they could, I have preserved it and stored it. It is ready for you to collect when you are able.

For all else, since it seems I have been ordered to stay a-bed for the most part until my strength returns, perhaps someone might play a game with me? It is very simple, you must come with a rhyme to match mine, then we continue until one of us cannot think of a line, I shall begin:

It's good to hear from you again, Lady Gilia, but I was quite unaware of your sudden illness. Is it safe to assume that the harvest's curse has affected you as well?

If so, there might be a subtle remedy that could help. Although, that would require you to travel to Mirth and I certainly wouldn't dare suggest it in your condition.

Instead, maybe I could offer you some hot tea and honey? That along with some much needed company.

It has, yes. I have been taking the treatment they have offered but - it seems the sickness had taken quite a hold of me as to not be dissuaded easily.

I would be glad for it all, Master Augustine, and for yours especially, thank you.

I'm glad you've received the medicine. Though, I find it rather difficult to choke down without some tea and honey.
