some people doubt this place is really the afterlife
and if we’re actually dead

but let’s say there’s a chance we can all return to our own dimensions, alive

or would you prefer to stay here instead, permanently?

I am of two minds. If it is my fate to die, I will die. However: I do not recall my death, and so I should like to return to my realm and have a proper death in battle.

Is it possible the moment of death is never remembered? If one had a bad death and remembered it, one could be doomed to wander as a vengeful ghost.

yeah...i guess it's possible that death happens so suddenly some people wouldn't even know what hit them
but that doesn't make sense for me and my friends

The nornir carve the fate of every man from the time of birth. I suppose you speak true that I cannot know what I am meant for, but I must believe it is a more glorious afterlife than this.

is it like a leader of your village?
how does he know everyone's fate?
does he tell anyone? or is it kept secret?
what happens if you change your fate?
