Do you think you're a prisoner of some sort of powerful magic or do you think you're dead? Or is it something else?

If it's death, were you close to dying when you then woke up here? Because I know I wasn't. I cannot die so if this is death, I have some questions.

When I said I was rubbing off on you, I meant in the context of not taking people's words at face value and assuming everyone is doing some kind of doublespeak. But my initial question was fairly straightforward, so I'm not parsing the misunderstanding, to be honest.

I've never taken people's words at face value though. I don't tend to trust anyone at all.

Don't take it to mean something other than the fact that I know you, and I know you're trustworthy.

I don't think I'd put all my trust in one person though.

I think we have to give some concessions, if we want to survive in this place.
