How are you thinking of this place?

Do you think you're a prisoner of some sort of powerful magic or do you think you're dead? Or is it something else?

If it's death, were you close to dying when you then woke up here? Because I know I wasn't. I cannot die so if this is death, I have some questions.

Hmmm...

I wonder if it's possible to send someone to the land of the dead without them actually dying then?
Which does seem a little more unfair if you're as stuck as the actual dead.
But it also does show that this place is uncomfortably powerful.

The last things we were doing? No.
But that itself isn't unusual, since it's not uncommon for everyone at work to be doing their own things.
We just aren't sure if we later on were together and simply do not remember what happened then.

I've heard of such things but for it to be cast on so many people at once? I don't know if I've heard of something that powerful.

I've been to places that some consider the domain of the dead. I've always been able to leave.

Right. If it is possible, that is pretty worrisome.
Especially since we all arrive here not at our fullest capacity. Nothing is really in our favor for dealing that something like that.

Well... maybe there is some way to leave this one, and we just haven't found it yet?
We still haven't really explored too far. Who knows how big this place is?

Though, I would think that if there was a way to get out of here, I would have found it.

That isn't being a braggart —

But, I've been able to leave places that look impossible to leave before. Save for the last time I was stuck in one place.

No.

I was in my home before this. And I was alive. I was fine. So, if I'm dead, then something is radically wrong.

And that makes me uncomfortable.

We will try to figure it out.
Everyone is at least working hard on trying to get to the bottom of things.

Although if something here is powerful enough to bring someone like you here...
We definitely need to stay on our guard.

It makes me curious if whatever was actually the cause of all this hasn't revealed themselves or if it's something more.

I don't know the answers.

If they haven't revealed themselves, do you think they ever will?
As of right now there's nothing really forcing them to.

I don't think anyone can stay hidden forever.

At some point, they'll want recognition.

I suppose that makes sense.
But I wonder how long they can wait for it.

It's what I've experienced before.

People who want to be revered and admired for their power have to show themselves at some point.

So, it's either we have to wait til that moment.
Or we figure out who they are before they're ready.

And unfortunately, I can't tell which one would be easier just yet.

I would say we have to wait and see, but I doubt anyone wants to do that.

I'd say so. But I'm also not sure of the next steps.

I guess that's an overall problem...
None of us really know more than the other and we're really all we have.
The ones in charge aren't very helpful.

They're not though I imagine that's by design.

Have you spoken to them often?

No.

Once or twice. Not enough to get any good information.

They don't show up too often and they don't really say anything too revealing.

[dreamlords]

Probably to keep us as much in the dark as possible.
