Allow me to make this clear. For those of you who wonder still: I am the Hierarchy. You do not come to us; we summon, invite, and hire. Order is of the utmost importance if you wish to survive, and time is of the essence. Do not waste mine.

Information doesn't always have to be given to be obtained.
You can eavesdrop, try to strongarm the information, or even put yourself in a precarious position and observe the results. When you have nothing, any information earned can be invaluable.

That's because it is. When you don't know who to trust, you'll often wind up either taking the first outstretched hand or spur them altogether and rely solely on yourself. I don't want to go to either extreme. So I'm testing the waters, so to speak.

And no, I don't. But if I sit around here bitching and moaning about our predicament, I'm no better than dead weight.

Yeah, I do.

But that doesn't mean I have to be part of a giant team. I'm more efficient working solo or with one or two people. Big groups just give me big headaches.

It's nothing personal. I'm still getting a feel for my surroundings and the people around me. We're all in the same boat, sure, but there are just as many people who would rather go off on their own or serve their own interests than keep the boat steady.

Frankly, I'm going to take my time getting to know the other Refugees before I commit to working closely with any of them.
