I am looking for some help in heating up a room-- heating a flat preferably, but even one room would be enough. A small device might not be enough for me, because... well. I am quite sensitive to the cold and will become sluggish, perhaps not as much as actual serpent-beasts, but still. I can't very well brumate until the weather warms up again, now can I?

I don't believe that feeling strongly for stories is silly. Eliciting an emotion is exactly what they're meant to do, because emotion is what created them in the first place.

That's a fair point. I wonder if this place has its own stories, too... I haven't been around too much to look.

But have you been to the library yet?

As it happens, I have thoughts of moving to Serene if this flat doesn't work out. Going to the library certainly wouldn't be out of the way.

Honestly, Serene seems like a good place. The library being not so out of the way is definitely a bonus.

I'm more concerned about the presence of fireplaces in houses. That would be quite convenient, wouldn't it?

Definitely something worth moving for.

Of course. If I didn't think ahead of the possibilities, I would have just traded a small cold space for another small cold space. I might as well just move to my room in the Shadowlands if that were the case, right?
