[His eyes would soften as he'd read that. It wasn't good, of course. This person he'd just met had suffered similarly, or maybe still was, and it wasn't good. But.. it was nice to know there was someone here who understood him. Really got it, to be in that headspace. He wished..]

Wanna come with me? When I find one? Its way easier with a buddy, I hear, and if it gets to be too much or you just wanna be like fuck it im out, then thats totally cool by me.
