It holds us back. When one gives into fear, we stay our hand, we're unwilling to take risks, and opportunity is lost.

I don't see myself as the type to let it rule. It can be a useful instinct, but one must learn to control, and direct it.

When I was a boy, food was hard to come by, at times. Starving to death has never precisely been unusual, where I'm from.

None of our world's cities are underground, I don't think that'd be all that possible architecturally (currently anyway).... there's some cave systems where ppl built crazy stuff like catacombs or whatever though. Other than that we're all piled onto the surface. Like 7 billion ppl.

Like ik what "underground" means to you. I think of underground as like UNDERGROUND. Rock for ceilings, etc.

Some parts of Earth have population problems so yeah it's pretty densely packed. My country and the surrounding countries are doing okay though.

Parts of Zaun are. It has multiple layers, and the deepest parts of the Sump see no light at all. Then there are the mines...

Trust me, there's places with no sun, but it's not like I've never seen it.
