Allow me to make this clear. For those of you who wonder still: I am the Hierarchy. You do not come to us; we summon, invite, and hire. Order is of the utmost importance if you wish to survive, and time is of the essence. Do not waste mine.

I was dying right before I showed up here. Pretty much in the middle of it.

I'd suspect some sort of magical means of it happening.

What kind of magic can do that? Bring back some dead people and pluck others out of their secret fortresses?

[ something sinister? yep. ] I'm not a fan of where this could be going. Nope. No way, man.

Powerful magic but I don't know of anything with those origins.

I'm not either. And I hate that we're beholden to it and can apparently do nothing about it.
