We've all had some time to settle in. Hopefully everyone's holding up all right!
For those of you I haven't spoken with, my name's Sakura. I'm both a doctor and healer and I have a little ad hoc clinic down by the docks. ( a helpful location ping follows this. ) If you ever find yourself needing medical care, please reach out and let me know. There's at least one other person here with medical experience that I know of as well, but I'll let them speak up if they want to make themselves known — and I'm happy to collaborate with anyone else, none of us can be everywhere at once.
( paging
terraria, party of bird. )
As for my reason for addressing you all... I'm looking to keep blood on hand for medical emergencies, transfusions and any surgeries that may be necessary. If anyone is willing to come down to the clinic and give a donation, it'd be very appreciated. I promise it only hurts a little! And you'll even get a candy afterwards! While supplies last.
Those with O-negative and O-positive types would be ideal. If you don't happen to know what your blood-type is, I can run a test for you.
Thanks everyone!
( she's almost finished, and it seems like that might have been the last thing... but a few minutes later, she clicks the feed on again: )
I'm still looking for information on anyone who's undergone the soulbond as well. Purely for research purposes. You can reply anonymously if you'd like, or privately if that's easier. I promise anything you say will be kept confidential.

Well, at least science has always proven interesting :)

Why?

I just haven't spoke with many people who have a clear memory of dying. Now, trauma can result in memory loss, so it's entirely possible that people are suppressing such an event as a self-protective measure, it's just strange to me, that's all.

I think we are suffering from a dearth of information, though, and that our supposed deaths play a key part in that dearth.
( but she's still stuck on one thing... she could see, possibly, someone taking out one of the members of team seven without them realizing or having a chance to react. it would have to be someone terrifyingly powerful and capable, but it isn't as if they haven't encountered gods before.
but for the three of them to have no recollection of such a thing... she simply refuses to accept that. )

It's difficult prying anything out of overlords.

Do you think it's worth it to try and request an audience with the Hierarchy?
no subject
The worst they could do is refuse the request.
[ or arbitrarily throw them in jail who knows ]

I've been considering asking them, but I'm hardly a expert. I was hoping my medical experience would be enough to get me in the door.
Would you work with me?
no subject
And sure, I'm very eager to get a moment with them. I doubt they'll have much that's helpful to say, but even what they don't say can reveal plenty.

But maybe it would be enough to be taken seriously!
( and lo and behold, she's asking about it. )

I hope so. They don't seem the type to be cowed by shows of force.

That's a whole debate we could get into.
But generally, yes. It's far more satisfying to solve things peacefully.

We'll see if that's their style, I guess...
