I'm in a band back home and missing shred sessions. I just found my guitar back -- [ a pause and then he might sound like he's devastated and talking about a lost love. ] Not my sweetheart but my acoustic.

[ and if you're thinking he's not gonna give you whiplash and then sound eager, excited as fuck at the drop of a hat then you're wrong. ] Anyway, I'm really jonesing to play. Anyone in?

If you're into metal or rock even better but all musicians welcome. The place I'm staying at isn't big but there's abandoned buildings near by and the acoustics are killer. [ and because there's some manners under there? ] And if you're in, I'm Eddie.

[Does such a thing exist? He's severely out of the loop after two-hundred or so years. However, he's really curious to know how far human ingenuity has come since his heydays.]

If so, then perhaps a local artisan here in Stygia could make one? Just a thought, of course.

maybe like a keyboard... they're smaller than grand pianos if that's what you're used to.

If this "keyboard" is anything similar to a parlor grand or consolette piano, then that's exactly what we need.

With a little bit of skill, an musician can make anything sound decent.

A consolette is a small console piano also known as a "spinet". They're a type of upright pianos that typically offer a more sonorous, consistent tone. The strings are shorter than your classic grand making them sound less...refined, in a sense.

[He would kill to get a grand piano here but there's no chance of that happening.]

I figured that if we can't find this "keyboard" variant, we might as well look for one of those.

[Much like everyone else here, he doesn't have much in means of money. Not yet, at least.]

If you're serious about forming this...band, then I suppose I could try commissioning one of the artisans here. That is assuming we don't find decent piano here.
