[ it's funny—she thinks it might be her Shadow at work, but it doesn't feel the way she thought it would. there's nothing controlling her movements or feeding words to her. there is just an anger she can't snuff out. everything it sets alight is still a part of Rudbeckia. ]

why would i get in a fight i already know i can't win?

i'm angry because everything is so simple to you that you can't even imagine some people need to protect themselves in other ways. honesty doesn't always work out, you know. and being vulnerable is worse.

because i made one of the anonymous posts you're complaining about and it pissed me off when i saw this so i just commented??? why else.

i mean did "bite me" really seem like i put a lot of thought into what i wrote before i sent it

listen, i'm the one that asked about everyone's shadows. the whole idea was that everyone could speak honestly about their shadows without having to worry that somebody else would treat them differently for admitting to something that's only in their head.
