I don't think it's so bad. Some people are too timid to ask questions honestly otherwise.

But it's already been abused, and the people who aren't abusing it are just using it for questions that they'd face no consequences for if they named themselves. It's only going to get worse.

Even if there are no consequences, I can see why some might wish to guard their privacy. Or to simply be open about their emotions, while guarding their feelings.
