yeah, that's the kind of person he is. she doesn't know what came over him that night he helped her, but she's sure that in time he'll find this same fault in her and that will be the end of it. even if she were hanging from a ledge by her fingertips, it would still be all the same lines. (you just aren't trying hard enough.) —so, she won't try. (you can't expect other people to do everything for you.) —so, she won't expect anything. (you have to save yourself.) —so, she won't ever be saved.
