You do too much for us, thank you, whatever I may do in return, please only ask.

[ There is another pause. Between struggling to breathe and the stress-induced tension-headache she's giving herself in sheer worry? It takes a second to try and word it. ]

I say this in care, I understand all you are doing for us and that you care for our plight.

But it seems there will be more of us, and I worry this will... will not sustain us. Abandoned houses need repair to be safe against winter winds, or summer rains, that means building supplies and tools to do it with. How bad will winter be? Will we risk being locked in our homes? If so, how will we eat?
