Hello! This is Lady Rudbeckia de Borgia. 😊 I wanted to speak to... the new Restless? Um. Those of us who have arrived recently. Actually, that was the first thing I wanted to discuss!

1) Should we have a name for ourselves??? Maybe that seems silly but everyone else here in the Netherworld is also part of the Restless, aren't they? So if I want to address "us" as a group then I can't just say the Restless... And I think we are a group! It would be nice if we all worked together.

2) What districts is everyone staying in? I was curious to know how spread out we are. I've been staying in Serene so the Oakwoods thing was really really scary for me. 😰 Does everyone have proper housing? Should we be making an effort to fix some of the empty houses??

3) Do we... have a plan????

it sounds like many of us are still in the process of adjusting, but i wouldn't mind putting our heads together and trying to come up with a plan.

We'd be able to get a better idea of how many of us there are, too.

Maybe "plan" isn't quite the right word... A goal?
Because it seems like a lot of people don't intend to just stay here like the other Restless.

There's a roof and a door, and I managed to get some help fixing the windows...
It's just a little scary since I've never lived on my own before. 😖

I'm not very useful for manual labour but if we get some people together to fix up houses I'll help however I can!!
I'd like to know that everyone has somewhere to stay.

Yes, that's what I was thinking!
Or at least an idea of where to start...
I mean, I hadn't even considered that there might be anything we could do about our situation?
So it would be good if we could all be on the same page.

It could help us in case another emergency happens as well, like that horseman.

Many people do not believe we are actually dead.
So in that case, trying to get back to our homes would be a major motivator.
And I am not sure how many answers we might find just sticking around the same areas for too long.

That was why I thought maybe we should have a way to refer to ourselves, and organise things like places to live...
But that's about as far as my ideas go. 😅

I was surprised because I hadn't really considered that at all? I had pretty much already accepted that I must have died.

But I should probably try to find an actual place.

I feel like there's probably as much of a chance of us being dead as there is one of us not be.
Either way, finding out as much information on our current situation is for the best.
It's just that depending on what exactly is the truth, the way we should proceed further may be different.

I guess I've been spending most of my time in the city... Mirth?? it just feels the most like home

but the Harbors are nice and Serene is nice too since we keep our rabbits there!

I've kinda just been staying where there's space, but having a whole house to stay in sounds kinda...better. probably a lot warmer and dryer too!

1) why does it matter what we call ourselves? i don't think we need a reason to separate our group from the other people here. that's how you create hostility and division. eventually somebody in our 'group' will start acting like they're better than people who've been here for years, or vice versa.

Why not simply refer to us as Restless? To give ourselves a separate name we would need a separate purpose.

Which leads to your third question, I suppose. To have a plan we need a goal. Right now, for many of us, that's just to survive...but I would be glad for the chance to do more.

Oh, and I've found shelter at the harbors. It's good enough.

1) I was just thinking it would make things easier? I mean, everyone has access to this network, so isn't it confusing to talk as if we're the only ones reading it? That way, when we're addressing our group specifically, there would be a name to use.

3) That's what I'm asking... Some people have said that they think we aren't really dead, or that there's something wrong. And even if none of that were true, aren't there other ways we could help each other? The other Restless always seem kind of annoyed by us so I thought, if we worked together... 😥

Well I don't know about a separate purpose, but we are kind of separated from the other Restless here, aren't we? I mean, a lot of them don't seem to have any patience for newcomers... so I thought it would be nice if we could help each other.

That's why I was asking about a plan, too. Some of our group seem like they have different ideas about our situation than the other Restless? I've heard people talk about returning home, or that we aren't really dead, or that there's something wrong with the afterlife...

I know!! 😤 Of course I understand that a monarchy must be busy, but they ought to at least make an appearance to their citizens...

That's okay. Maybe you can be part of the planning department. I'm terrible at that kind of thing.

If you ever get anything unsavory near your place, let me know. I'll take care of monsters, animals, or whatever else exists here for a couple coins.

step 1: get everybody in a house

The Barrens are full of caves and ruins. There are destroyed buildings where others have said some unsavory groups gather. The Hinterlands are wild and forested.

There may be things of value there, but finding them requires experience.
